Use of the frequency modulated screening process is finally possible with CTP.

While a 60-dot pattern allows the placement of only
3,600 dots per color per square centimeter, the FM screening that we use allows 227,000 dots in the same area.

The visible result is a half-tone-like image similar
to photography.
